This little one was one of my most alert newborns, and she was only seven days old! Her dad is a fireman, so her parents had let me know ahead of time they would be wanting this very special shot. Love how it turned out, although the outtakes of him feeding her are just as sweet. More peeks to come. Reminder to contact me while you are still pregnant to reserve your newborn session.

I have some gorgeous sessions to get posted here before we head out of town for a little while and hit the beach (yay!), the first of them being these two little cuties from over the weekend. I caught up with this family at the Park of Roses, one of my favorite spots to shoot in the Spring when everything is in bloom. You are going to be seeing this location pop up a lot here in future weeks, just a heads up, and I can’t say I blame anyone who wants to have their session there. The light at this place in the evenings is just amazing, and row after row of roses just makes it perfect. Anyway, more shares of this family soon! Loved this session, such a beautiful little baby and he gave me about as much time awake as he did asleep. We got so many great images, I can’t wait to share with his mom and dad.
I have had some beautiful babies lately, little Cole was just six days old on our session last week.
I went back to one of my favorite spots last week for a Mini Session with little Rhett, who is almost 8 months old. He was so happy and smiley, I love photographing babies at this age because they usually are so engaged with the camera. Just seven days new, this little one was so sweet and tiny. I photographed her mama just a few weeks ago, so hard to believe she is here already. Lots of little babies coming up over the next few weeks, can’t wait to share more peeks of them all. Newborns are best photographed before twelve days old, don’t delay in scheduling if you would like your new arrival captured in those first few days of life.
I was so thrilled to finally get to shoot a maternity session in town, I love the idea of a mama-to-be in an urban setting all dressed up and glamorous.
